Blast Off! Join “Second Saturdays” at the Challenger Learning Center

LOCKPORT, NY – Adults, children, sci-fi fans, and space enthusiasts of all ages can now go on a space mission at the Challenger Learning Center. On the second Saturday of every month the Challenger Learning Center of Lockport will be open to the public. It will feature Kids’ Story-time in the Planetarium, Space Missions, and more!

DATE: December 13th

Schedule:

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Kids’ Story-time in the Planetarium
• 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Space Missions and Planetarium Shows starting every half hour

Activities:

• 20-Minute Planetarium Shows – All Ages
• 20-Minute Space Missions – Ages 10+
• Planetarium Story-time – All Ages

Pricing:

• $15 per person
• $10 per person for groups of two or more
• Parents free with children under 16
• Price includes unlimited access from 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The Challenger Learning Center of Lockport is a space-themed educational hub inspired by the historic Challenger Space Shuttle. The center’s programs include summer sessions, after-school programs, scout programs, field trip opportunities for teachers, and more!

The C.L.C. teaches students valuable STEM skills and exposes them to space- and STEM-related careers through immersive, hands-on learning experiences. The center offers hands-on space flight simulations, virtual space missions, a mobile planetarium, and more.
