Corporal, US Army, Co B 30 Inf., WW1. Aisne: Champagne-Marne; Château-Thierry. POW 7-12/1918.

First generation American. Drafted in WW1. Combat infantry. Fought in France in the decisive Battle of Marne. Shot, gassed & taken as a PoW. Released after the war. Promoted to Corporal. Died 1980.
