  1. Payton Gendron, the suspect of the recent Buffalo mass shooting, was indicted by a grand jury on Wednesday. The grand jury voted for an indictment against Gendron with regard to the felony complaint filed on or about May 14, 2022. He will be held without bail until further action from a grand jury. (The Buffalo News)
  2. The Tops Market worker who called 911 during the recent mass shooting said the dispatcher hung up on her during the call. The worker, assistant office manager Latisha Rogers, reported she had to call her boyfriend to ask him to call 911 after the dispatcher hung up on her. The dispatcher was placed on administrative leave pending a disciplinary hearing scheduled for May 30. Peter Anderson, a spokesman for Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz, said the call did not affect police response time and the call is under review. (Buffalo Patch)
