- New York gas prices are setting records. According to AAA, the state's average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $4.94, which is the highest it has ever been. That's almost two dollars more than it was a year ago at $3.08. AAA says that Buffalo drivers are paying an average of $4.80 per gallon at the pump. This comes as local and state governments work to reduce gas taxes to help ease the burden on drivers. (WIVB.com - News 4)
- Looking for a destination? One more option is coming soon. Frontier Airlines announced that they will be launching a nonstop daily service from Buffalo Niagara International Airport to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas. The flights will begin on Aug. 9 and the airline is offering fares starting at $99. This is the ninth nonstop destination from Buffalo Niagara International Airport. (WGRZ)
