Here are the top three stories in Buffalo today:
- Buffalo police are searching for a 69-year-old woman who went missing on Wednesday morning. Dorothy Head was last seen on the 100 block of Oberlin Avenue and is described as 5'4" tall and 220 pounds. Police also reported that Nayvette Serrano and her three children also are missing in a separate case. Anyone will information is encouraged to call 911. (WIVB 4)
- Juneteenth celebrations return this weekend, featuring parades and a festival. After two years of virtual events, the Juneteenth celebrations will return to being in person. Festivities are Sunday, Jun. 18, and Monday, Jun. 19 at Martin Luther King Park. (WKBW 7 News Buffalo)
- A Buffalo man was arrested in Lancaster in connection to a domestic violence case on Tuesday. Police responded to a Transit Road hotel around 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday night. 31-year-old Mitchell Odell was found in the hotel room and charged with aggravated criminal contempt,
second-degree strangulation, and other charges. (WKBW 7 News Buffalo)
