Here are the top three stories today in Buffalo:

1. The northland corridor will be needing more electric power soon. The Northland Beltline campus's expansion has caused the Buffalo Urban Development Corp. to explore doubling the hub's power capacity. The proposed expansion is estimated to cost about $2 million. 2. Complete strangers have teamed up to provide hot meals along Jefferson Avenue. Read the story of how a man was compelled to drive 15 hours from Georgia to Buffalo to help with the community response to last week's shooting. 3. Field trips are back. After nearly two years, Buffalo students are taking their first field trips since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
