Here are the top three stories today in Buffalo:

  1. Two men were shot overnight on Friday in South Buffalo on Pembina Street. One man is in critical condition and the other is in stable condition. There are reports that the shooting started at a party or gathering in the area. (Buffalo News)
  2. A Pan-African flag was raised in Buffalo at Niagara Square ahead of Juneteenth. Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and Common Councilmember Ulysses Wingo hosted the flag-raising on Friday morning. The city is hosting various events in celebration of Juneteenth. (WIVB.com - News 4)
  3. Two Buffalo-area banks are aiming to increase access in underserved communities. KeyBank and Bank of Buffalo are serving students and residents on the East Side of Buffalo. The banks are doing outreach programs to incentivize people to sign up for the bank. (Buffalo News)
