Bushwick Parents Disturbed After Loaded Gun Found in Park: Report
One mother wrote that the gun was found underneath some leaves, where her daughter likes to play.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Some Bushwick parents are nervous after a Parks Department cleaning crew found a loaded gun hidden in a work glove within Green Central Knoll park, where they often play with their children.
Some Parks Department workers on the morning of Nov. 21 found the .25 caliber gun hidden under some leaves, Bushwick Daily reported.
The Parks Department took the gun to NYPD's Police Service Area 3 building, where cops told Bushwick Daily the weapon was loaded and closed the investigation.

One mother's post in the online group Bushwick Parents/Padres de Bushwick, witness Magali Charron said the gun was under some leaves, and her two-and-half-year-old daugher loves playing in leaves, according to Bushwick Daily.
The Bushwick Parents group organizer told Bushwick Daily they have discussed these particular children's safety issues with Council Member Antonio Reynoso, who represents Bushwick's City Council district.
