Fire Erupts Inside Bushwick Apartment Building Tuesday: FDNY

BUSHWICK, NY - A second floor fire erupted at a Bushwick apartment building Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

The blaze at 1229 Greene Avenue near Central Avenue was reported about 11:57 a.m., fire officials told Patch.

12 units, including 60 fire and medical personnel, responded to the three story apartment building, police said.

The fire was deemed under control about 12:21 p.m. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
