Bushwick Fight Video: 10 on 1 Outside Late-Night Mexican Joint
As many as 10 men used belts and chairs to brutally beat one male victim Saturday night outside Vaqueros, police say.
BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — Police are looking for as many as 10 men (some of whom are pictured above) who brutally beat a lone victim outside Vaqueros, a late-night Mexican food restaurant and club on Myrtle Avenue, late Saturday night.
The fight went down around midnight Saturday at 1541 Myrtle Ave., police said.
Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows several men punching the victim. Another attacker can be seen whipping him him repeatedly with a belt. And just before the footage ends, two others move in to attack the victim with chairs.
The suspects fled east on Myrtle after the assault, according to police.
The victim suffered lacerations to his torso, left arm and shoulder, police said, and was taken to Elmhurst General Hospital in "critical but stable condition."
Detectives described the suspects as males in their early- to mid-20s.
Vaqueros could not immediately be reached for comment Monday morning.

This alleged crime took place in the NYPD's 83rd Precinct. According to police statistics, through April 3, major crimes in the precinct were collectively down about 1.4 percent compared to the same time period last year.
