L Train Shutdown Workshop Tonight In Bushwick

Don't hold back: tell the MTA and transportation department what you want them to know.

BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — The impending 18-month L train closure in January 2019 is drawing ever nearer. The MTA's latest workshop on the closure is happening Thursday night, March 2. Attend to find out everything you wanted to know about the shutdown, and to express your opinion to the people who matter.

MTA and Department of Transportation officials will be offering information residents want to know and asking them about their alternate travel preferences. Residents can also ask officials about accessibility issues, impacts of construction and other service-related changes on the subway and bus during the shutdown. The L Train workshop takes place on March 2, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in East Williamsburg/Bushwick at Progress High School, 850 Grand St., Brooklyn.
