VIDEO: Man Caught Allegedly Stealing Jewelry From Bushwick Apartment
This is when a video security system turns out to be helpful, folks.
BUSHWICK, BROOKLYN — A man was caught on a home security camera ruffling through a Bushwick apartment, stealing jewelry from it and fleeing, cops said. The suspect maneuvered his way inside the apartment when the two residents, a 24-year-old woman and 21-year-old man, were away on Valentine's Day, police said.
The incident occurred between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in an apartment located at Troutman Street and Evergreen Avenue, according to the NYPD.
Cops describe the suspect as a Hispanic man who was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweater, black vest, blue jeans, yellow gloves and multi-colored sneakers.
