• Couple safely flees burning home in St. Lawrence Co. (wwnytv.com) — Canton firefighters joined several neighboring departments battling a late-night house fire on Tracy Road in Lisbon, where a couple escaped safely but sadly lost one of their dogs. Crews fought the blaze for more than five hours in sub-zero temperatures that froze equipment, and investigators believe the fire started in the home, with propane tanks still burning in the destroyed garage the next day.
