Families will take part in creative, age-appropriate activities that directly support local organizations and community needs—including packaging adaptive-product kits for young children with mobility challenges, alongside food, book, and care-package projects. Join us for a meaningful morning as we turn Dr. King’s values into action together. </h5><h5>Join us to honor Dr. King's legacy through community, creativity, and collective action.  Let's make a difference, together!  </h5>

For $125 per person, 6 Restaurant is offering a special New Year's Eve prix-fixe menu to celebrate the new year. The 6-course menu includes highlights like Shrimp Crudo, Scallop Ravioli, and Dry-Aged Duck to name a few. In this concise, high-impact session, we’ll clarify what dyslexia is (and isn’t), dispel common myths, and highlight the strengths often seen in dyslexic thinkers. Parents will gain a parent-friendly introduction to the neuroscience of reading: why reading is taught, not innate, how dyslexic brains process language differently, and how neuroplasticity makes structured intervention so effective.&nbsp;
You’ll walk away with concrete, evidence-based guidance on what high-quality instruction looks like, what red flags to look for in school language, and which questions matter most when evaluating your child’s support. We’ll share a real-world transformation story to illustrate how the right intervention can unlock measurable academic gains and powerful emotional growth.
