Here are the top stories today in Center Moriches-Eastport:

1. A collection drive for the people of Ukraine is being held this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Westhampton Beach Fire Department, located at 92 Sunset Ave., Westhampton Beach. Items needed include new or lightly used clothing, personal hygiene items, diapers, toiletries, and first aid medical supplies. Everything collected that day will be handed over to the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Riverhead, which will arrange for transport to Ukraine. (Patch)
2. Six Suffolk County men facing multiple felony charges as alleged participants in a national dog-fighting ring. Deputies of the Carter County Sheriff’s Office arrested Nicholas Zane Loveless, 34, of Hampton, on Tuesday on a warrant charging him with three counts of cruelty to animals. Loveless pleaded guilty to all three counts of animal cruelty. (NewsKudo)
3. Marvin A. Dominguez Torres, 20, a Riverhead man, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child for allegedly giving last month a 14-year-old Riverhead Middle School student candy that was infused with Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, Riverhead Town Police said. Police also urge adults who may have recently legalized recreational marijuana edibles in their home to keep them locked up away from minors, police said. (Dan's Papers)
4. If you haven't visited the Long Island Science Center in Riverhead, you are missing out on experimenting and using your imagination, as every exhibit is interactive! Exhibits include learning how to fly a drone, see the very first video game created, learn about Leonardo da Vinci using AR. This hands-on learning center is located at the Tanger Outlets in Riverhead. (News 12 Westchester)
