According to the press release, Suffolk County Community College has been named a 2022-23 military friendly school with a gold designation by militaryfriendly.com after a "comprehensive evaluation of the college’s services using both public data and responses from a proprietary survey the college completed," the press release stated. 2. A fire broke out Wednesday morning at about 8:17 a.m. inside of a Mastic home on Seaford Avenue, Suffolk police said. Arson investigators were called to the scene, a spokeswoman said. No injuries have been reported. (Patch)
