EASTPORT-SOUTH MANOR, NY — The Eastport-South Manor boys' varsity track team has made their hometown proud, taking home the county championship.

On Feb. 1, the varsity boys track team won the Section XI Small School County Championship, edging out Shoreham-Wading River with a score of 63 to 51 ,the district said.
"Justin Albanese, Jaiden Campbell and Riley Gimpel led the team with spectacular performances, which led to a victory. Congratulations also to coach Brian Methven and John DiMarco for this outstanding achievement," the district said.
