Bedford Man Reports More Than $100,000 Worth of Items Missing

A $70,000 watch is on the list of stolen goods.

A 69-year-old Bedford man has reported more than $100,000 worth of items—ranging from clothing to iPads to $3,000 worth of bedding—missing from his home over an eight-month period, officials say.

Bedford Police received the complaint on March 3.

The resident said the thefts likely occurred sometime between June 2012 and Feburary 2013, but he only recently began to notice missing possessions. He told police two people—an acquaintance and a cleaner—were staying at the home during that time.
