Police: Fire That Led to Armonk Man's Death a Suicide Attempt
The fire was not caused by a vehicle malfunction in the Chevrolet Tahoe, according to the Fairfield Police Department.

The truck fire in Fairfield, CT that resulted in the recent death of an Armonk man has been ruled an apparent suicide attempt, Fairfield police department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier said Tuesday.
The fire, which happened on Sept. 6, 2012 in Fairfield's Tunxis Hill Park, was not caused by a vehicle malfunction, according to investigators.
Police believe the can of gasoline found in the back of 23-year-old Justin Hervey's Chevy Tahoe was used to disperse gasoline in the front passenger compartment of the truck.
