Reder, Scanlan Face Off For Bedford Central School Board Seat

Bedford Central School Board incumbent Ed Reder is running for a second three-year term against challenger Marie Scanlan.

BEDFORD, NY - Bedford Central School Board Trustee Edward Reder is facing a contested race for re-election to his seat.

Reder, who is running for a second three-year term, is being challenged by Marie Scanlan.

Meanwhile, newcomer Bill Canavan is running unopposed for the other seat that is up for a vote. The seat is currently held by Andrew Bracco, who is not running again.

The terms on both seats run from July 1 to June 30, 2020.

Bedford Central's candidates will meet up on May 10 for a forum, which will be held at Fox Lane Middle School's Little Theater at 7 p.m.
