Westchester Delays Opening of County Golf Courses

Recent weather conditions lead to postponement to Friday, including at Hudson Hills in New Castle.

Westchester County was set to open its public golf courses today, but recent weather conditions have led to a postponement.

County officials say the six Westchester County-owned courses will open on Friday, March 15, instead of today. Among those delayed is Hudson Hills, which is located on New Castle's West End.

Westchester County owns and operates six 18-hole courses located in the north, central and southern areas of the county:

Driving ranges are available at Mohansic, Sprain, Dunwoodie and Saxon Woods. The tee time reservation system is available for making reservations by calling 914-995-GOLF (4653) or using the online system.
