Work Week Weather: On Our Way to Feeling Like 100 Degrees in Chappaqua, Mount Kisco
Not only does this work week include a chance of storms, but Chappaqua and Mount Kisco can also expect elevated temperatures and humidity.

It looks like we are in for a long stretch of hot and humid weather this week in the Hudson Valley area.
Temperatures throughout the area will be in the 90s on Wednesday and Thursday, and the heat index on both days specifically could make it feel like 100 degrees.
There is a chance of continued storms on Monday, and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms also on Tuesday and Thursday.

But, for the most part, it appears we’ll be dealing with mostly sunny, hot and humid conditions for Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties this week.
Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather said, “The frontal boundary that is pressing thru the Hudson Valley, has absolutely no cold air to work with behind the front. That means we shouldn’t expect much relief… in fact, things likely get worse.”

On Monday, it will be mostly cloudy with a chance of more showers and thunderstorms, with temps only in the low to mid 80s.
Early Tuesday there’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms, and then the sun appears and temps rise into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
Wednesday and Thursday appear to be very similar with temps in the low to mid 90s with sunny skies, though there is a slight storm chance on Thursday.
Friday is a return to sunny skies and the temps are a bit cooler in the high 80s.
The first look at next weekend’s weather looks great with sunny skies and temps in the mid to upper 80s.
