The multi‑year effort upgraded policies, training, and facilities, and village leaders say it strengthens transparency, accountability, and community‑focused policing for everyone who lives and works in Chatham.
   

• These 13 stunning Upstate NY movie theaters have been running since the silent film era (syracuse.com) — One of Upstate’s oldest movie houses is right in Chatham: the Crandell Theatre on Main Street, opened in 1926 and designed by Chatham native Walter S. Crandell. This Spanish Renaissance‑style landmark still shows films today and anchors a broader roundup of classic, century‑old cinemas across Upstate New York.
