15 Hudson Yards Gets New Renderings, Launches First Sales

The 900-foot residential building gets some futuristic-looking new renderings, while announcing they open for sales this week.

CHELSEA, NY — A new step has been reached in the massive Hudson Yards development as 15 Hudson Yards opens for sales this week. And we got a new look at what the nearly supertall skyscraper will look like when it's finished.

The 910-foot tall residential building, not slated to open until 2018, is open for sales, but you better be ready to pony up for the privilege of living in the luxe new building. According to Related Companies, which is developing the whole mega-complex, residences will be priced "approximately" $2 million to $30 million.

The 15 Hudson Yards building will be the first residential building to open on the property. Standing at 88 stories tall, it will have 285 one- to four-bedroom condos. It is also slated to include 106 affordable units, if $2 million-plus is a little beyond your budget.

It will be the fourth-tallest building in the massive development once it's finished. The tallest will be the 1,296-foot-tall 30 Hudson Yards, which will be an office building, but also include a 1,100-foot-tall observatory. Then, 50 Hudson Yards will be second at 1,068 feet and also hold office space, and 35 Hudson Yards will be third-tallest at 1,000 feet. And then there's the 895-foot 10 Hudson Yards, which has already topped out and is open to tenants such as Coach, and 55 Hudson Yards, which stands at 780 feet.
