• Chenango Bridge Fire Company holds ceremony for refurbished Engine No. 39 (wicz.com) — Chenango Bridge residents now have a fully refurbished Engine No. 39 back in service as the fire company’s first-out truck, following an eight-month, $350,000 overhaul. Officials say refurbishing instead of buying new saved the community about $700,000, and volunteers marked the milestone with a traditional wet-down and push-in ceremony at the station.
