The award highlights Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic’s role in serving Wayne and Ontario counties, its 262-bed facility, and its ongoing investments in expanded services and innovation as part of Rochester Regional Health.
   

• Kenneth E. Walker (pcpatriot.com) — Longtime Clifton Springs resident Kenneth E. Walker, 86, has passed away in Sarasota, Florida, after a long illness. He once worked for Stromberg-Carlson in Clifton Springs before a career in engineering and service in the U.S. Marine Corps. His family has already held a private graveside service and suggests memorial donations to local humane societies.
   

• Felony arrest made at Thruway stop near Clifton Springs (fingerlakes1.com) — Law enforcement activity near Clifton Springs led to the arrest of a Newark man at the Thruway Exit 42 park-and-ride, following an investigation into an earlier incident in the village. He now faces felony contempt and aggravated family offense charges, along with a child endangerment count, and is being held in Ontario County Jail awaiting arraignment.
