Van Overturns In North Babylon Crash: Police

The van carried multiple passengers at the time, police say.

NORTH BABYLON, NY — A van with multiple passengers overturned after a North Babylon crash on Sunday night, Suffolk County Police said.

At about 10:50 p.m, police received a call of a crash on Anderson Avenue in North Babylon, near Gracie Drive.

A van with multiple passengers had overturned, but here were no life-threatening injuries as a result of the crash, police said.

Emergency Services Section officers responded to the scene to help turn the car. The intersection was closed for a brief period of time while the scene was cleared, police said.
