5 Things: BAM Pride Party and a Bone Marrow Registry Drive

1. Give life. Would you save someone's life if you could? Of course you would, so stop by the Bone Marrow Drive for NYPD Officer Dean Monaco today at Atlantic Terminal any time between 4 and 7.
2. Comedy on camera. Attend a special comedy taping at The Bell House (149 Seventh St.) with comedian Nick Thune who has been featured on “The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon,” “Conan” and various Comedy Central specials. Tickets are $15, but buy two for $20. Doors at 9 p.m. Show starts at 9:30.
3. Pride Party. The Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) will host Everybooty, a building-wide event showcasing dancers, writers, visual artists and drag performers in a “celebration of queer culture.” Events start at 8 p.m. and go until 2 a.m. Tickets are $25.
4. Brass With BAM. See New Orleans’ Stooges Brass Band, voted “Best Brass Band” at the Red Bull Street Kings contest, play for free at the MetroTech Commons (5 MetroTech Center) as part of BAM’s R&B festival. Show starts at 12 p.m. and runs for one hour.

5. Move the car. Alternate side parking rules are in effect today. The next suspension is July 4.
