5 Things: Fiddler on The Roof and Free City Stomp Music Class

1. Stomp with the kids. Today there's a Free City Stomp Trial Music Class  at 11am at 1225 Ditmas Ave. at Argyle.

2. Catch a (child-size) Broadway show. The Brooklyn Children’s Theatre (BCT) Teen Players are putting on Broadway classic Fiddler on the Roof. Friday, June 7, 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 8 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. 126 Saint Felix St., between Hanson Place and Lafayette Avenue. All proceeds from ticket sales go to the BCT Scholarship Fund.

3. Tap into your inner naturalist. At the Prospect Park Audubon Center, make your own journal, learn how to use binoculars and learn how to use field guides. Thursdays and Fridays, 2–3 p.m. until Friday, June 28. Free.

4. Get involved. Tonight head to P.S. 230 to see 'Within One Room'  a film created by a team of 5th grade students to explore (through interviews with their family members) how personal experiences shape values in education in seven countries. Share the experience and join in the conversation about the kind of education that can work to meet the needs of today's children in a global community.

5. Move your car. DOT’s alternate side parking rules are in effect today.
