1. Sing local. The 773 Lounge is holding its weekly open mic night tonight, so join the party this week with Bill Bern and Matt Seneca for yet another great time. Perform, watch others perform, or drink - or do all three! From 9 p.m.-12 a.m., 15 minute sets are given to each performer and anything goes-- you can do music, comedy, poetry, a capella, hip hop, ballet, hula hoop, or anything your heart desires! More information can be found here.
2. Drink local. We're half way through New York City Beer Week (it ends Sunday, March 3). Have you made the most of local discounts, tap takeovers and special events? Stinky Bklyn, for one, has been sharing awesome cheese and beer pairings on Facebook all week. And, frankly, we're feeling parched.
3. Blush local. WASSABASCO will host its annual free evening of burlesque entertainment at The Bell House tonight, Feb. 28 at 8 p.m. Featuring over 20 performers in one jam-packed night of striptease entertainment, you can't afford to miss it.
