Brooklyn ARTery Expands Offerings for the Holidays
Christmas trees and wreathes are being sold at the local shop.

No need to travel far to get all the fixings for a holly, jolly Christmas: Ditmas Park's the Brooklyn ARTery is selling Christmas trees and wreathes through the holiday season.
"The new gift shop in the neighborhood invited a Christmas tree farmer from Vermont... He will have all kinds and sizes of trees and wreaths. Buy in the neighborhood!" wrote co-owner Susan Siegel.

The shop, which opened earlier this month at 1020 Cortelyou Rd., is also a place for people to teach and take artisanal classes, interact with other members of the community and is an outlet for local artists to sell their work, Siegel said.
"It's a community hub," she continued. "It's the idea that we can shop locally."
