Brooklyn Mom Killed By Daughter In Argument Over Cat: Reports

EAST FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A Brooklyn mom was killed by her daughter in their East Flatbush home after an argument over a cat's living arrangements, according to multiple reports.
Chandra Sutton, 50, was arguing with her 67-year-old mother, Barbara Kirby, and started "pummeling" her, according to the New York Daily News. Kirby went into cardiac arrest and was brain dead after the beating, according to the Daily News. She died Monday, the News reported.
Sutton was arrested and charged with assault and is expected to be charged with murder soon, the News reported.

The argument started when Sutton wanted to bring a cat into the house, but her uncle told her she couldn't because her mom is allergic, according to DNAinfo.
Sutton is a career criminal with more than 75 arrests on her record, DNAinfo reports.
