Each band performed one song for the audience and judges, who then chose who got to move on to the next level of the competition. The Hsu-nami performed 'Entering the Mandala,' a classic for the band.Â
"It's one of our older songs, we close every single show we play with it and it always kills," Bergholm said. "If we only had the chance to play one song, it would be it." Â
For the first time ever, the Ultimate Battle Grand Prize winner will be awarded with the opportunity to perform at the Apollo Theater as a guest artist at its signature series, Amateur Night.Â
