- An FDNY firefighter, Timothy Klein, 31, died on Sunday while putting out a blaze in Canarsie, which also injured eight other fighters. According to reports, the building's ceiling collapsed on Klein while he was stuck inside. (New York City Patch)
- A man from Flatbush was sentenced to 10 years in prison for sex trafficking, the Brooklyn District Attorney announced on Monday. The man pled guilty to having forced sexual contact with two teenage girls over the course of several months in late 2020. (Brooklyn Daily Eagle)
