Fire At Flatbush Apartment Sends Firefighters Rushing To Scene

FLATBUSH, NY — Firefighters rushed to the scene of an apartment fire in Flatbush on Wednesday afternoon on Nostrand Avenue, between Farragut and Glenwood roads.

The address for the fire, 2069 Nostrand Ave., appears to belong to an apartment building sandwiched between the Nostrand Ink tattoo parlor and the The Mistical Order Of St. Gabriel Spiritual Church Inc.

The call came in to the FDNY around 12:32 p.m., an FDNY spokesman told Patch. It was under control about an hour later. No one was hurt in the blaze.
