  1. City officials are considering creating a dedicated bus line for Flatbush Avenue. The Flatbush Avenue bus–the B41, which runs from Marina Park to Downtown Brooklyn–is one of the slowest in the city, averaging 6 mph. Council Member Rita Joseph strongly supports increasing bus infrastructure, and investment in public transit in general. (Brooklyn Reader)
  2. Four men pleaded not guilty to selling beloved actor and East Flatbush native Michael K. Williams a lethal dose of fentanyl-laced heroine last fall, after which time they allegedly continued dealing in 'broad daylight.' (New York Daily News)
  3. New York City is taking action against the landlords of 250 buildings across the city through its Alternative Enforcement Program. 119 of those buildings are in Brooklyn, accounting for 1,837 homes in total. 50 0f them are on the Attorney General's worst landlord watch list, which includes several in Ditmas Park and Flatbush.
