Flatbush Bus Crash Latest: 15 Injured After Bus, Sanitation Truck Sandwich Car

EAST FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — An MTA bus and a sanitation truck slammed into a car in East Flatbush on Thursday morning, injuring 15 people, according to FDNY and photos from the scene.
An FDNY spokesman told Patch that the crash happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of East 40th Street and Avenue D. Two of the 15 injuries were serious but not life-threatening; the other 13 were minor, the spokesman said.
All of them were transported to area hospitals, the FDNY said. PIX 11 shared a photo from the scene of the crash:
