1. An off-duty police officer from the Flatbush/Kensington/Ditmas Park precinct was charged with a hate crime by the Brooklyn DA after an alleged anti-Muslim attack against a driver, who he called racial slurs before punching him to the ground. (Brooklyn Reader)
2. 22-year-old Brooklyn rapper Tdott Woo was shot and killed outside of his Canarsie home on Tuesday, marking another casualty in a series of recent deaths in the Brooklyn Hip Hop community. Just days earlier another rising Brooklyn artist, Nas Blixky, was left in critical condition after being shot in the head. (Brooklyn Paper)
