- Police arrested a man from Flatbush, Lateef Coleman, Friday, who is accused of stabbing a 22-year-old Subway dancer who got too close to him on an L train. The victim of the incident is in stable condition. (AMNY)
- A group of rappers, allegedly members of Brownsville’s Woo Gang, were arrested earlier this week on the charges of using the stolen identities of over 800 people to collect their pandemic-related unemployment benefits. The rappers came under suspicion after posting a video showing large amounts of cash. (Brooklyn Reader)
- Mayor Eric Adams announced Friday a plan to 'crack down' on anyone using the Subway for purposes other than getting to their destination, saying "We are not going to wait until someone shoves a person onto the tracks — we are being proactive." (New York City Patch)
