Learn About 130 Brooklyn College Undergraduate Programs on Oct. 30

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — Brooklyn College will host an undergraduate open house on Oct. 30, a chance for those interested in the school to learn about more than 130 bachelor's degree programs it offers.

The open house will also allow guests to meet with faculty, university staffers, and current students, to learn about internship opportunities, and to get information on the school's admissions process, scholarship opportunities, and financial aid packages.

The open house will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and you can RSVP online here. The college is located at 2900 Bedford Ave.

According to the admissions office, the day is organized as a series of workshops focused on different aspects of the university. Visitors will attend the workshops in groups. (All visitors, however, will start the day at 10 a.m.)

You'll also get a tour of the campus, including such attractions as the Brooklyn College Library, the headquarters of Brooklyn College Radio, and the The DRD Speech Language Hearing Center at Brooklyn College.

Applications are still being accepted for the spring semester, which starts on Jan. 30, and those interested will be able to apply on the day of the open house (you can also apply online). Applications are also being accepted for the fall semester, which starts at the end of August.
