Man Arrested In Texas Chicken And Burgers Gang Assault
A man who offered to pay for a stranger's meal was instead beaten and robbed.
FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged for his role in a gang assault on a man who tried to pay for a stranger's meal at Texas Chicken And Burgers, the NYPD said.
Kariem Roberts, who lives near the chicken and burger joint, was arrested and charged with four counts of robbery and one count each of gang assault and menacing. The investigation is still ongoing.
A total of five men were involved in the assault, which left the would-be good samaritan with broken bones and lacerations.

Security footage shows the man getting beat up and having his property stolen as he lay on the ground.
