Man Found Bloody, Beaten In Flatbush

And authorities initially didn't know who he was.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — Authorities found a man bloody and beaten in front of a Flatbush home and rushed him to the hospital without knowing who he was, police said over the weekend.

The man was found outside of a home on East 15th Street, between avenues H and I, on Wednesday, April 5, around 9:30 a.m., police said.

He was bleeding on the brain and had a nasal fracture and a broken left clavicle, police said. He was rushed to NY Community Hospital in Brooklyn and then New York Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan.

Police said Saturday, though, that he had been identified and reunited with family. An investigation remains ongoing.
