Man Gunned Down Near Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, Police Say
The man, 24, was shot and killed Wednesday night just blocks from Brooklyn's Prospect Park, police said.

BROOKLYN, NY — A dispute near Brooklyn’s Prospect Park ended in gunfire Wednesday night, leaving a man dead, police said.
Ramel Ingram, 24, was allegedly fleeing his attacker when he was shot multiple times in the chest around 8:45 p.m. outside a building near Crooke and Ocean Avenues in Flatbush — just two blocks from Prospect Park, police said.
Police found Ingram bleeding at the scene, and medics rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.

One person was taken into custody after the shooting, and a firearm was recovered at the scene, an NYPD spokesperson said.
Charges are still pending as of Thursday morning, and the investigation remains ongoing.
