Man Shot and Killed on Flatbush Avenue Thursday

A 26-year-old man was shot in the face in a Flatbush Avenue building, according to the New York Police Department.  

At approximately 8:38 p.m. on Nov. 29, police responded to reports of a person shot in a Flatbush Avenue apartment building, near Cortelyou Road.

Upon arrival, police found a man, identified as Juny Reyes of Bedford Avenue, on the second floor of the building.

Reyes was unconscious and unresponsive, and when EMS arrived on the scene they pronounced him dead, police said.

No arrests have been made, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
