Meet The Flatbush Food Co-Op At A Happy Hour With Members

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — If you've ever wanted to join the Flatbush Food Co-Op, you have a great chance coming up to learn about doing so.

The Flatbush Food Co-Op is holding a happy hour at Bar Chord where people can meet with co-op members and learn more about the organization.

The event takes place Saturday, June 17 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Bar Chord on Cortelyou Road near Coney Island Avenue.

"Mingle with member-owners, staff, and our board in Bar Chord's beautiful backyard," a Facebook event description reads. "Learn about the co-op and enter to win prizes! Light snacks provided."

The co-op is a shared community grocery store that focuses on vegan and organic products. Members get access to special discounts, profit-sharing opportunities and a say in decision-making.
