  1. Authorities were able to stop a 29-year-old man from harming himself, after he entered the 67th Precinct in Flatbush around one a.m. on Saturday. He was subsequently transported to the hospital. (News 12)
  2. Flatbush and many neighborhoods across southern and eastern Brooklyn are at the "highest" risk for displacement, according to an interactive map released by the city's Department of City Planning. The map includes demographic data (Flatbush is 76.5 percent non-white), market pressure metrics, and the population's income level. (Brooklyn Reader)
  3. The rent guidelines board, which every year makes a recommendation as to how much rents should be increased in New York City's almost one million rent-regulated apartments, suggests there should be increases of between two and nine percent.
