Man Dies In Flatbush Shooting: NYPD

As police arrived on the scene, gunshots erupted at East 34th Street and Newkirk Avenue, authorities reported.

FLATBUSH, NY — A man was killed in Flatbush Friday night, according to police.

After responding to a 911 call at 9:20 p.m., police heard shots fired around near East 34th Street and Newkirk Avenue, according to the NYPD.

Once at the crime scene, police found a 28-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso in front of 3405 Newkirk Avenue, an apartment complex, police reported.

The victim was sent to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County where he was pronounced dead, according to the report.

No arrests have been and the case remains under investigation, police said.
