Police Search For Missing Teenage Girl

The New York City Police Department is asking the public's assistance in finding a missing teenage girl last seen within the 70th Precinct on April 4.

Estefania Ortiz, 13, was last seen at approximately 11 a.m. leaving her home on East 12 Street near Avenue J. 

Ortiz stands 5-foot-8 and weighs 100 pounds. 

Anyone with information in regards to Ortiz's whereabouts is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
