  1. Rev. Edward-Richard Hinds has been named the interim President of The 67th Precinct Clergy Council, also known as the GodSquad. He succeeds Pastor Gil Monrose. Over the past 12 years, the organization has served as a bridge between Flatbush communities and the NYPD. (Brooklyn Daily Eagle)
  2. Permits have been filed for a new five-story residential building on Lott Street between Tilden Avenue and Beverley Road, in Flatbush. The building should host a total of 96 residences. (New York YIMBY)
  3. New York State's top appeals court announced on Wednesday its decision to throw out newly-drawn Congressional and State Senate district lines, suggesting they had been gerrymandered to favor Democratic lawmakers. The primary date will also likely be pushed back to sometime in August, meaning more time for Kevin Parker and his challengers, David Alexis and others, to campaign. (New York City Patch)
