Snowplow Driver Finds Man Dead In Flatbush Street

He was found Wednesday night.

FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN — A snowplow driver clearing snow after Tuesday's blizzard found a teenager lying in the street who had been shot in the head, the NYPD said.

The Department of Sanitation snowplow truck operator phoned the police at about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday night, an NYPD spokesman told Patch.

When police arrived at the scene on East 91st Street, between Ditmas and Avenue and Avenue B, they found 19-year-old Trevon Dickens, who had been shot in the head, police said. EMS came to the scene and pronounced him dead, police said.

An investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
